Information about 3-Man Scramble Leagues

-The 3-Man Scramble tournaments cater golfers looking to play in a competitive team golfing atmosphere.

-Golfers are NOT required to have a handicap for any of Utah Golfing Guide Leagues.

-Each player in the team hits a shot and the team takes the BEST shot of all 3 golfers.  In a 3-Man Scramble format you may move your ball 1 club length from the best shot, but are NOT allowed to move a ball from the rough to fairway or bunker to fairway.

-Course rules at the individual courses will be in effect.

-Each League will consist of 4 tournaments.  The first 3 tournaments will act as seeding and qualifying  for the 4th tournament or Match Play Round.  (You may play in just 1 of the 3 tournaments if you elect)

-Men will play from the blue or black tees (depending on the course) and women from the white tees.

- The top 10 teams will earn points in the standings and top 8 teams advance to the fourth tournament or the Match Play Round with a chance to win the division and grand prize.

-Teams will be allowed to have 5 players on their team roster.  Teams can use all 5 players on their roster at any time, but can only have 3 golfers participating at one tournament. (This is NOT 4 man scramble, it’s 3 Man)

-For each tournament, two teams (of 3 golfers) will be paired together and record the score of the team they are paired with.

-  The team with the most points will be the #1 seed and play #8 seed, #2 seed will play #7 and so on.  The first two rounds of the match play will be 9 holes.  The final championship round will be 18 holes and take place the following week.

-Prizes will be awarded at each individual tournament for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
